Membership


The American Legion. Patriotism. Service. Fraternity. It's a powerful package! It's a program of involvement in the many facets of your life. It's a program which can have a positive infuence in the lives of you and your family. It's a program of Promise!

Membership is easy. Stop in to pick up a membership form, fill it out and drop it off at the Pull-Tab Booth with payment for the current dues amount. The membership chair will verify the information then send you a membership card to your address.

Please be sure to have your DD-214 available upon request.

Once you become a member you will receive our monthly newsletter in your mail. Important news and events are communicated there to all members. You will also receive The American Legion Magazine.

A portion of your dues will go to the State and National Departments. The remainder will go into the Post's general funds.

Our meetings are on the third Thursday of each month beginning at 1900 hours at the Post.

American Legion Billie Brown Post 627 dues for 2007-2008 are $30
American Legion Auxiliary Unit 627 dues for 2007-2008 are $18
American Legion S.A.L. Squadron 627 dues for 2007-2008 are $9
American Legion Junior Units of Auxiliary and S.A.L. for 2007-2008 are $5

PUFL rates are dependent upon age and therefore will be available at the Post.
